Launch Your Business This Summer: Join our 14 Day Website Building Workshop

About this event

In partnership with OCAD University's RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers (CEAD) and FINELINE, and hosted by The Habit Factory, this workshop will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to build a website that truly represents your brand to help grow your business.

Over the course of 14 days, you'll work alongside a community of peers to receive personalized feedback and guidance to help you create a website that stands out. This workshop will encourage you to try your hand at everything from website design to copywriting while providing opportunities to ask questions and get support from your peers and mentors.

What to Expect

The workshop will be 100% virtual held between July 11-25. Expect a mixture of working on your own, connecting with others online, and 3 live calls so you can participate from anywhere in the world. Since it's designed for OCAD students and alumni, or individuals who have taken a course with OCAD's School of Continuing Studies, you'll have the opportunity to connect with other like-minded creatives to build your network. We will send you a link via email to join the session.

• Tuesday, July 25, 2023 @ 5pm

About the Hosts

The CEAD supports the early-career advancement of all OCAD U students and recent alumni through career development, experiential learning, and creative entrepreneurship programs and services.

This programming is part of FINELINE, a project by OCAD University to incubate and develop a platform and a co-op that helps artists and designers grow their businesses online, while developing creative entrepreneurship skills.

The Habit Factory is a Toronto-based organization that focuses on professional development for creatives at an early stage. If you want to start taking your creativity seriously, we recommend you turn it into a habit. Habit Factory hosts workshops on the following topics: portfolio-building, UX interview preparation, creative soft skills development, and brand building on social media.
